WHAT IS A PRIDE HOUSE?

A Pride House is a place created to support and celebrate the LGBTI+ community.

The aim is to provide a safe and inclusive place where all members of the community can come together, share experiences, promote visibility and raise awareness of the issues facing the community. Supported by Pride House International, Pride Houses have been taking their place at major international sporting events since the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

This year, the Fier-Play association is organizing the 24th edition of Pride Houses, focusing on celebrating the Games and creating an inclusive space for LGBTI+ athletes and their allies. This initiative aims to promote the values of the LGBTI+ community and raise public awareness of the issues facing this community in sport, while calling for universal inclusion and the decriminalization of homosexuality.
This year, the aim is to convey a strong message: to make LGBTI+ people in sport more visible, by promoting testimonials and role models.

Pride House Central

A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE TO CELEBRATE THE GAMES

At the heart of the event, whether you’re an athlete, supporter or ally, gather at Rosa Bonheur sur Seine during the Olympic Games.
We look forward to welcoming you to a program of sporting, cultural, educational and festive events!

The event offers a diversity of sporting activities accessible on a daily basis, with demonstrations designed to promote inclusive, non-gender-specific practices.
A space will be dedicated to exhibitions and literary works addressing various themes affecting the LGBTI+ community, offering an enriching cultural platform.

Volunteers will be on hand to share and raise awareness of the LGBTI+ cause in sport, offering quizzes, animations and impassioned discussions.
The emphasis is on celebration, with dance demonstrations offered as “ice-breakers”, inviting participants to join the party into the night.
